Captioning & ASL interpreting
SXSW provides ASL interpreters automatically for many large events and by attendee or presenter request. We offer a mixture of open and closed captioning throughout conference sessions — captions are added automatically to most sessions.
Conference Captioning
Closed captions are accessed from the user’s personal device via QR code available in the room. To view which sessions provide captioning, use the accessibility filter on the schedule.
